Duties
- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, including sinks, counters, and storage areas
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient handling when needed
- Support the catering team by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for events or banquet functions
- Help with general kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash bins, and sanitizing surfaces
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dish turnaround during busy service periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
