We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Transmission Project Manager to join our team at K&A Engineering in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Youll be part of a dynamic, people-focused team where your expertise, ideas, and contributions will be valued and celebrated.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage various Transmission projects through their lifecycle
- Coordinate and lead monthly project reporting, collect and compile data.
- Develop project approach and implement project execution plan.
- Monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.
- Support financials, staffing, risk management, change management, contract management, tracking and resource management for all projects.
- Lead and support the project team to ensure deliverables are being provided to the clients satisfaction and that projects are following internal and external QA/QC guidelines.
- Promote a culture of can do attitude and say do ratio with project deadline and quality across the team.
- Visit client sites and provide assistance and guidance to the teams as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduation from a four-year college or university.
- Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Working knowledge to proficiency in project-related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.
- Experience in the utility industry.
- Knowledge in construction management.
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (2 days in office)
Pay Range $35$41/hour
