We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Inspector to join our team at K&A Engineering in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations:
- Perform field data collection associated with electric power lines
- Conduct field measurements and/or field data survey to produce plans for engineering design
- Read and Interpret construction print and perform red lining
- Prepare work orders and materials specifications
- Pull data from SAP, Smart Map, and other GIS systems
- Experience working in all weather conditions, heat, snow, rain, wind
- Comfortable interacting with customers and walking long distances on foot
- Must be able to update or extract information from computerized system
- Actively ensure compliance with safety regulations and identifying potential hazards to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment
What we’re looking for:
- HS Diploma required
- Experience in field work with construction and/or electric utility company
- Prior experience as a Field Inspector is preferred
- Ability to accurately collect and document data
- Must have current US Work authorization and a valid US Driver License in good standing
- Must be able to travel daily to different sites for Field Inspection services
Pay Range $30-$35/hour

The salary range for this role considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to technical ability, experience and training, licenses and certifications, and other related skillsets. The disclosed range is an estimate and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
