General Laborer

Overview:
JY techs was established in 2009. Its main customers are international semiconductor factories located in Taiwan Science Park. Currently, JY techs is developing new business in Phoenix and is a qualified supplier of TSMC AZ. JY Techs is committed to providing professional engineering services to semiconductor factories.

JY Techs provides the provision of engineering services for the clean room integration engineering, the sales of precision ancillary equipment for the semiconductor industry, equipment parts manufacturing and repairs.

As a General Laborer at JY techs in Phoenix is involves routine maintenance, equipment inspection, basic repairs, and supporting on‑site operations across multiple factory locations. You will learn tasks directly on the job by working alongside experienced staff. Overtime may be required on weekdays or weekends. This role will require about 90% time work in a clean room environment (depending on engineering schedule) and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

This is a “Working Engineer position” and must be willing / able to be “Hands On”.

Responsibilities

• - Perform routine maintenance such as checking drives, motors, or belts, replacing consumables (e.g., filters), and completing preventive maintenance tasks.
• - Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• - Use hand tools, levels, plumb lines, or rulers to adjust equipment or instrument features.
• - Install or repair machinery, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, power tools, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments, and electrical/electronic test equipment.
• - Rotate to various factory locations for engineering construction and on‑site operational support based on business needs.
• - Assist other departments, administrative operations, and tasks assigned by supervisors.

Schedule

• - Fixed 8‑hour workdays
• - Weekday and weekend overtime may be required

Requirements

• - Ability to lift 30–50 lbs
• - Ability to stand for extended periods
• - Comfortable using hand tools and basic equipment
• - Reliable attendance
• - Authorized to work in the U.S.
• - Willing to work overtime when required
• -Strong hands-on skills. Must be able to work with hand tools.

-Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines.

Role within the Factory:

- Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for entire duration of working.

- The employee Must be willing to lift up to 20 pounds and spend the majority of time on the floor or ladder working on engineering in the factory.
