Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CMMs (preferably using MCOSMOS software).
- Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products using CMM and manual tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators, etc.).
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Conduct and approve First Article Inspections (FAIs).
- Document and report nonconformances, and support corrective action processes.
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections for quality compliance.
- Use specialized inspection techniques (ultrasonic, fluorescent, optical comparators) as needed.
- Support cleanroom inspections with proper PPE.
- Maintain organized and safe work areas aligned with quality protocols.
- 5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of CMM experience, preferably with MCOSMOS.
- Strong skills in interpreting engineering/technical drawings.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated inspection techniques.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable documenting results accurately.
- Able to work cross-functionally and communicate inspection findings.
- Capable of working in a cleanroom environment and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training/certifications preferred.
