Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and carpet cleaners to enhance the appearance and safety of flooring surfaces.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in storage areas, warehouses, or manufacturing zones as needed.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs to ensure facilities remain operational.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
- Support additional custodial or facilities maintenance duties as assigned by supervisors.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services with knowledge of commercial and residential cleaning techniques.
- Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Strong understanding of custodial practices related to industrial cleaning environments.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving supplies throughout shifts.
