Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality customer experiences
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food handling, cooking techniques, POS systems (Focus POS), and customer service standards
- Manage inventory control processes to reduce waste, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper food safety practices are followed
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and preparing financial reports accurately
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet business demands during peak hours in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols across all areas of the restaurant
- Implement budgeting strategies and monitor expenses to achieve operational targets while maintaining quality standards
- Conduct interviews for hiring new team members, evaluate performance, and support ongoing training & development efforts
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement in food production and customer service
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with a focus on food safety and hygiene practices
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development in hospitality or restaurant management roles
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking
- Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, cash handling procedures, and food cost management
- Experience working in fine dining or hotel environments is a plus but not required; a background in catering or banquet services is advantageous
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and handle customer concerns professionally
