What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bridge Construction Technician position at JWilliams Contracting LLC?
Qualifications include:
- Valid Driver's license
- Background in construction (2 years minimum)
- Clean drug test
JWC is looking to hire a laborer. 75% of the work will be in DeQueen, AR. The other 25% will be located in Northern Louisiana. Pay will depend on experience. Working conditions are very extreme and may include heat, cold, high wind, ice, rain, snow, rough terrain, tall bridges, moving water, mud, etc.
Average work week is 5 10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday. However, this could vary from project to project which could result in being on the road during the week.
Pay cycle is weekly. Benefits offered after 90 days. Starting pay is $25 an hour
Responsibilities include:
- Operate drills, impact, hydraulic tools, sawzall, etc.
- Turn wrenches
- Swing sledgehammer
- Operate chainsaw
- Heavy lifting
- Operate excavator
- Dig with shovel
- Swing pick axe
- Climb ladders
- Read tape measure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
