While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

- Primary accountability is in support of projects to assure weld quality of parts to the customer drawing or specification requirements.
- Will help to facilitate problem-solving and issues.
Education Level
Active CWI credential required
Experience
- Experience in a metal manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex diagrams, blue-prints, weld symbols, and written/verbal instructions.
- Familiar with AWS Welding codes.
- General knowledge of quality inspection tools (micrometers/calipers).
