Our client is a top-ranked, world-class multi-strategy Hedge Fund who is looking to hire proven & talented Portfolio Managers and Teams globally. With > $30Bil AUM & 5000 employees across their more than 100 offices, our Client has deployed highly diversified & stable capital across Equities, FICC, Credit, Systematic & Arbitraged strategies for more than 30 years.
In this role, the PM/Team/Analyst will deploy capital as prescribed within their specific vertical & risk parameters specific to their strategy. The ideal candidate will have accrued at least 5 years track-record trading a Fundamental Equity Long-Short Strategy running >$500Mil with a demonstrated return of ~20% and a > 2 Sharpe. All candidates will be required to submit their resumes as well as their investor presentation including team & resource requirements. No materials will be circulated without the candidate’s expressed permission.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
· Manage assigned allocation including targeted returns under the prescribed risk parameters
· Maintain the Book’s market neutrality w < 10% directionality or agreed to exposure
· Conduct rigorous, fundamental bottoms-up research to continuously identify attractive long/short investment opportunities
· Develop differentiated investment thesis pushing conviction or contrarian viewpoints · Synthesize market intelligence using to develop & maintain complex trade models
· Engage & maintain relationships with counterparties and 3rd party research & support
· Prepare and present investment ideals, reports and real-time analytics
Qualifications:
· Bachelors with Advanced degrees from top universities—advanced degrees & CFAs preferred
· 5 year live track-record running >$500Mil AUM
· Returns of 15% - 20% with Sharpe of 2
· Expertise in navigating & manage risk despite market uncertainty
· Strong channel check & network
· Ability to attend conferences and travel as needed
· Strong industry & counterparty relationships
