Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa in Clearwater, FL. As a Specialty Restaurant Chef, you will oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation, adhering to established standards. Responsibilities include developing innovative menus, managing food inventory, maintaining hygiene and safety protocols, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver a remarkable dining experience at the specialty restaurant.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation, Hygiene, and Cooking techniques
- Strong Food Service and Culinary Skills
- Experience with menu development, including innovative and culturally inspired dishes
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a team efficiently
- Formal culinary training or certification preferred
- Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or resort setting is a plus
