Station Supervisor – (Last-Mile)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Station Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our 20,000 sq ft oversized and palletized last-mile sortation hub. This facility supports regional 2C bulk delivery, B2B freight distribution, and palletized inbound processing. The Hub Manager will oversee all inbound, breakdown, sortation, staging, loading, and dispatch functions while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Managed warehouse operations, sorting processes, trucking logistics, and last-mile delivery partnerships to enhance overall efficiency
• Optimized trucking and last-mile delivery routes to improve distribution speed and accuracy
• Ensure accurate and efficient handling of oversized freight (furniture, bikes, equipment, palletized shipments).
• Manage workflow across approximately 20,000 sq ft of operational space, ensuring optimal layout utilization and process compliance.
• Oversee coordination of 20–40 daily driver routes and 1,500–2,000 units/day throughput.
• Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, FMCSA, and company safety guidelines.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with linehaul carriers, internal 3PL teams, and local delivery teams to ensure seamless freight flow.
• Maintain a professional relationship with vendors, contractors, and third-party partners.

Qualifications

Required

• 5 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or last-mile delivery operations.
• 3 years in a leadership role managing teams of 20 employees.
• Strong knowledge of oversized freight handling, palletized operations, and last-mile routing.
• Proficiency with WMS/TMS platforms, scanners, and warehouse technology tools.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment handling bulky/awkward freight.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings as needed.

Preferred

• Experience operating a facility of 20,000–50,000 sq ft.
• Background in 2C bulk, furniture, mattress, or non-conveyable freight.
• Forklift certification or familiarity with MHE operations.
• Experience with continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma).

Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
