What are the responsibilities and job description for the Validation Engineer position at JVIS?
SUMMARY: The Validation Engineer is responsible for verifying and validating various components, ensuring they meet industry standards and perform as expected. The Validation Engineer is also responsible for the development and execution of test plans using in-house or outside test labs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
· Assist the engineering team / customer in the development of the DVP.
· Responsible for obtaining test plan approvals from the customer to being tested.
· Execute the approved DVP, address any testing issues and return an approved DVP&R (with customer signature), with test reports.
· Approve / troubleshoot test set-ups and test reports.
· Electrically / EMC focused lab testing experience is preferred.
· Experience with electrical and automotive testing.
· Experience with test plan management.
Follows all safety, housekeeping (5S) and company policies and procedures.
Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and job assignments as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of a high school degree. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in validation. Must have an understanding of automotive electronics. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
