Mechanical Designer (Shelby Township, MI) Produce specifications for design, develop, and install of new or modified mechanical components or systems.

Complete project from design concept through program launch. Perform initial and ongoing design reviews. Measure performance of mechanical components. Produce and implement designs and test procedures. Maintain and modify equipment to ensure it is safe, reliable, and efficient.

Perform design for manufacturing and design for tooling reviews for new component designs and injection molding feasibility reviews to ensure design is tooling feasible.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as Mechanical Designer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Senior Manager or related occupation designing and developing front, rear and interior components for automotive products required.
