Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Board Operator located in Orlando, Florida. The Board Operator will handle daily tasks like managing audio boards, facilitating live broadcasts, operating equipment, and ensuring seamless transitions during radio programming. Responsibilities include monitoring broadcasts for audio quality, coordinating with on-air talent and programming staff, and adhering to broadcast standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the radio or broadcasting industry is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools)
- Strong multitasking and troubleshooting skills
- Comfort speaking live on-air and interacting with callers, guests, or listeners
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including afternoons, evenings and weekends
