Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Bilingual Receptionist role based in Rockville,MD. The Front Desk Bilingual Receptionist will greet and check in clients, answer and route phone calls, respond to general inquiries, and schedule or confirm appointments in a timely and professional manner. The role includes managing incoming mail, organizing client documents, maintaining the reception area, and supporting basic clerical tasks such as scanning, copying, and data entry. The receptionist will communicate with clients in English and another language (commonly Spanish) to ensure clear and respectful interactions. This position works closely with tax preparers and accounting staff to support client intake, coordinate documentation, and provide a welcoming, efficient front office experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients in person and over the phone.
- Proficiency in receptionist duties such as greeting visitors, managing appointments, and directing clients to the appropriate team members.
- Effective phone etiquette and the ability to handle multiple calls, take accurate messages, and transfer calls appropriately.
- Clerical skills including basic data entry, document organization, filing, and use of office equipment (copiers, scanners, printers).
- Bilingual fluency (e.g., English and Spanish) with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages clearly.
