Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
- Perform precision machining using manual/CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment
- Work with hardened steels, carbide, and other tool steels
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and press teams to optimize die and tooling performance
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure tooling meets quality standards
- Work as a team or individual in a clean manufacturing environment.
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
- Support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance
- 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker (progressive stamping experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of die construction, repair, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
- Experience working with carbide and hardened materials
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Apprenticeship completion or technical training in Tool & Die or Machining
- Experience in high-speed, high-volume stamping environments
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
