Area Manager - Commercial Cleaning

J.V. Janitorial is growing our team! We are looking for an Evening Supervisor to oversee Office and various manufacturing cleaning accounts. This position will work heavily with our Account Manager and Operational Leader managing Night Cleaners, floaters and floor techs, after regular business hours.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, flexibility in schedule, clean background, driving record, reliable means of transportation, and have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Job Summary: As the Evening Supervisor, you will be required to be a working leader. This position will be assisting the crews on various different jobs, while working to get assignments completed in a timely and precise manner.

-Check in and supervise any 2nd shift job assignments

-Fill in for any missed cleaning shifts

- Oversee time management in online app

- Report issues to daytime management team

-Responsible for vehicle , office and warehouse cleaning, maintenance, etc. of JVJ corporate office

Oversee cleaner assignments including:

-Floor work projects

-After Hours Office and Bank Branch cleaning

-Commercial cleaning

Qualifications:

Reliable means of transportation and valid drivers license WITH clean driving record

Dependable, and honest; ability to work autonomously

Leadership or supervisory experience

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Residential and commercial janitorial, cleaning experience including floors (i.e. stripping and waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, etc.)

Responsibilities:

Assist Account Manager with after hours day-to-day needs and jobs

Perform work required as assigned by Manager

Participate in special events when necessary

Be flexible with shift, night hours generally will be_ 6pm - midnight _

Be able to lead a crew of people while on specific job sites ensuring work is being completed

Check in with Account Manager to ensure operations is running smoothly or address any issues/concerns that have occurred

Work along side a team of crew members and positively influence them to work hard, and diligently.
