POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Truancy Intervention and Prevention Services (TIPS) Program Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of the TIPS program, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with contractual and organizational standards. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Director oversees program operations, leads a multidisciplinary team, fosters community partnerships, and works collaboratively with schools, courts, and community stakeholders to improve school attendance and support children and families. This is a full-time, in-person position. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS/EXPERIENCE:

· Master’s degree in social work or a related field (Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Education, Public Administration, or similar).

· Minimum of two years of leadership or management experience in human services, behavioral health, education, or a related field.

· Experience managing programs serving children, youth, and families.

· Experience collaborating with schools, community organizations, and public systems.


SKILLS:

· Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic case management or data systems.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While the position is primarily office-based, occasional travel throughout Philadelphia is required using the employee's personal vehicle to support home visits, court appearances, school meetings, and other program-related responsibilities. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance are required.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide overall leadership and management of the TIPS program.

· Ensure program services meet contractual, regulatory, and agency standards.

· Lead, develop, and support program staff to achieve program goals and deliver quality services.

· Collaborate with the School District of Philadelphia, the Department of Human Services, the courts, and community partners to strengthen outcomes for youth and families.

· Monitor program performance, outcomes, and compliance through data analysis and quality improvement efforts.

· Oversee program budgeting and resource management.

· Develop and maintain community partnerships and referral networks to address barriers impacting school attendance.

· Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and compliance with funding and agency requirements.

· Participate as a member of the agency's leadership team, contributing to organizational planning and decision-making.

· Promote a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Salary : $67,000 - $75,000
