What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Maintenance Technician position at Justus Property Management?
We are looking for a part time maintenance technician for our apartment complex in Shelbyville, IN. Candiate should have time management experience, ability to complete repairs as needed.
- Basic household maintenance
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge is a must
- Tenant work orders
- Cleaning
- Painting
- Diagnoses and minor repairs of HVAC related issues
- Lifting and moving of heavy items (water heaters, appliances, rock salt)
- Some grounds keeping & snow removal, as needed.
- Must be able to perform routine maintenance tasks, minor maintenance requests, routine preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed to all common areas and units.
- Ability to work an on-call schedule as required to meet the needs of the property
- Use a variety of building trade skills
- Be able to work on step/extension ladders
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Must have a Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation and insurance
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
Work Location: In person
