We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components including motors, belts, wiring, and plumbing systems
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to maintain automation systems
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as required for facility upkeep
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including safety upgrades and renovations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations during all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency
- Lead or participate in team training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge sharing
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and PLC programming
- Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding, plumbing, and general repair work
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for overseeing maintenance teams or projects
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective documentation and teamwork
- Customer service orientation when interacting with internal clients or external vendors
