What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Coach - Track Throw Coach position at Justin-Siena High School?
Justin-Siena is seeking an Assistant Coach - Track Throw Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. The school competes in the Vine Valley Athletic League (VVAL) and the North Coast Section (NCS). Candidates must have a commitment to building a loving, inclusive community and to developing holistic growth in student-athletes. Candidates will oversee both shot put and discus. There is flexibility in schedule and various experience levels welcome to apply (training provided for those interested). The position is part-time and comes with a competitive stipend. However, some consideration for a full-time position may be determined based on qualification. Coaches report directly to the Athletic Director.
The successful candidate will articulate a coaching philosophy that aligns with the core principles of a Lasallian school. Further, it is expected the coach will help in directing all phases of the program including practice planning, conditioning, strategy and tactics, scheduling and budget oversight. Athletic teams are active starting in August 2025 through May/June 2026. Finally, the assistant coach embraces the responsibility of being a positive role model/mentor for students and as a representative of Justin-Siena High School.
Preferred qualifications:
? Three or more years of successful coaching experience
Compensation:
The stipend for this position is $1,500.00
