What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor position at Justin's Scuba Time, Inc?
We are looking for an individual who loves to swim and can work with both children and adults of all ages. As a Swim Instructor, you have the ability to change and reinforce the perspective of children and adults when it comes to water sports, activities, and safety. Our main objective here at Scuba Time is to allow all swimmers to have a fun and safe time learning to swim in our indoor heated pool year-round.
No previous teaching experience is required (however recommended). We do require some type of previous swim experience (swim team, water polo, ect.) as well as reliable transportion to and from our facility.
We are looking for an individual with the ability to work Monday - Thursday from 2:15 pm-7 pm. Schedules will start with a Mondays and Wednesday or a Tuesday and Thursday schedule. Perfect for an after-school job. Extended hours during the summer
Benefits of becoming a swim instructor with us include the ability to earn your Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid/AED for Professional Rescuer certifications (if not already achieved) as well as the opportunity to achieve your PADI Open Water Diver scuba diving and continuing scuba education certifications.
