Justice Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across industrial and commercial settings. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system installations.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures and local electrical codes.
- Diagnose electrical issues within complex industrial systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high-voltage circuits.
- Conduct routine maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations, providing expert guidance on electrical blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems.
- Proven experience in industrial electrician work along with commercial electrical system installation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes to ensure code-compliant work.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Experience working on high-voltage wiring projects in industrial or construction settings.
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage wiring, renovation projects, and construction site environments.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, power drills, frame carpentry tools, and basic handyman equipment safely.
- Strong commitment to following electrical safety procedures at all times to prevent hazards or accidents on the job site.
