Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Victim Advocate located in Jacksonville, FL. The Victim Advocate will support victims of crime by providing advocacy, assistance, and resources tailored to their needs. Key responsibilities include coordinating services, managing cases, and guiding individuals through the criminal justice process. Qualifications
- Experience in Victim Services and Victim Advocacy
- Background in Social Work and Case Management
- Knowledge of Criminal Justice systems and processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work empathetically and advocate for individuals in stressful or sensitive situations
- Proficiency with basic documentation and case tracking systems
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or related field preferred
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
