Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of Justice Grown's logistics, ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with state cannabis regulations. This role is responsible for organizing orders, managing packaging and delivery schedules, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with procurement and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

What You'll Do:
Your responsibilities include:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Track all inbound shipments by maintaining packing slips and log sheet
• Organize and track all outbound shipments, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
• Work closely with vendors, transport providers, and internal teams to coordinate outgoing operational shipments
• Maintain accurate records of operational inventory, shipments, and packaging materials.
• Manage packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documents, ensuring proper documentation for compliance audits.
• Assist Procurement with inventory counts and monitoring of PPE stock
• Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
• Communicate with internal departments (procurement, inventory, sales, and compliance) to ensure smooth operations when shipments arrive
• Deliver shipments to appropriate internal recipients/departments.
• Organize and maintain shipping and receiving areas for optimal efficiency.
• Address and resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies in coordination with procurement and management.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, local cannabis transport).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
• Prior experience in the cannabis industry or highly regulated environments.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
Work Environment:
• Warehouse or distribution setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
• May require occasional weekend or evening shifts based on shipping needs.
• Willing to focus on repetitive work for long periods of time
