Our dedicated team in Fairport, NY is there to meet all the network-related needs for our clients' businesses, handling everything from IT service and cybersecurity protection to low-voltage installations and networking setups. We're experiencing major growth, and we're hiring a full-time Traveling Structured Cable Technician to travel throughout our service area (Utica to Buffalo) and work on clients' commercial systems. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As our Traveling Structured Cable Technician, you will:

• Travel to assigned jobs within our service area
• Run cabling to install various electrical components and accessories for businesses
• Accurately install audio/video jacks, distribution systems, cameras, speakers, Wi-Fi networks, networking switches, and other low-voltage electrical components
• Complete exceptional hands-on work that makes a real difference for every client

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to travel 100% and cover our service area from Utica to Buffalo
• Ability to provide your own tools
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Bonus Qualifications:

• Industry certifications
• Knowledge of cellular networks and Wi-Fi
• Ability to install data, voice, video, and audio cables for low-voltage commercial systems
• Personal truck or van that can carry tools, a ladder, and electrical cables

YOUR HOURS

You'll work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with overtime available. Regular travel is required.
