Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our construction team, bringing expertise in a wide range of carpentry disciplines. As a vital member of our crew, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures that meet high standards of quality and safety. Your role will involve interpreting technical drawings, working with various materials, and collaborating with other trades to deliver exceptional results on diverse projects. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects.
• Perform drywall installation, repairs and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces.
• Execute trim carpentry tasks including door frames, window casings, cabinetry, and finish carpentry details.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and install building components.
• Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools; perform dimensional measurements for precise fitting.
• Assist with siding installation, and remodeling projects as needed.
• Support construction management by adhering to safety protocols, maintaining site cleanliness, and coordinating with team members.
• Heavy lifting of materials and equipment is required regularly to ensure smooth workflow on-site.

Experience

• PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING ON CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AND REMODELING IS NECESSARY.
• Proven experience in construction or carpentry roles with a focus on framing, , siding, trim and cabinetry installation or remodeling projects.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints for various construction tasks.
• Hands-on experience with finish carpentry
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools including drills and saws.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction site practices.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
• Must have a driver's license
