Janitor/Cleaner

Key Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning

• Clean and sanitize all play areas, toys, and playground equipment throughout the day
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms regularly, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
• Wipe down tables, chairs, seating areas, and high-touch surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners

Play Area Maintenance

• Inspect playground structures and equipment for debris, spills, or hazards
• Clean ball pit areas and ensure balls and surrounding surfaces are sanitary
• Organize toys and play equipment throughout the facility
• Remove damaged or unsafe toys and report issues to management

Party Room & Guest Areas

• Clean and reset party rooms between birthday parties or events
• Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, and food service areas
• Assist with general organization of guest seating areas

Sanitation & Safety

• Follow proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures for a child-focused facility
• Maintain cleaning logs and report maintenance issues when noticed
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and used properly
• Help maintain a safe environment by quickly addressing spills or hazards

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, family-focused environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning procedures
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to lift up to 30–40 lbs

Schedule

• Flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
• Part-time or full-time positions available

Work Environment

This position requires frequent walking, bending, lifting, and cleaning in an active indoor playground environment with children and families present.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
