Barista/FOH Manager *(Front of House)

Position: Barista/ Front of House Manager, Full Time.

Pay: The minimum pay for the Barista Front of House Manager position depends on experience, with the typical average ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, inclusive of tips, as the Barista Manager participates in the tip pool share.

Just Love Coffee in Mt Juliet, is looking for a passionate and experienced Barista Front of House Manager to join our dynamic team at our Mt. Juliet location, the highest volume cafe in the U.S.! Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional guest service and quality control.
• Train, mentor, and support new and existing baristas in coffee preparation, including how to steam milk, dial-in espresso, operate both manual and automated coffee machines and more.
• Collaborate closely with the General Manager to maintain a cohesive and efficient team atmosphere between the front of house and kitchen back of house as ONE team.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining coffee equipment to ensure optimal mechanical performance.
• Skill set must include technical familiarity with grinders, brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other coffee-related tools.
• Manage inventory for front-of-house supplies, ensuring we are always well-stocked and ready to serve our community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of barista experience preferred.
• Preferred minimum of one year of experience in a managerial or leadership role overseeing a team.
• Extensive knowledge of coffee, drinks, and various coffee preparation methods.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a strong sense of urgency.
• Passion for coffee and commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
• Must be available to work 32 hours per week, including many weekends and holidays.
