Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Full-Time Float caregiver for our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care across multiple departments and shifts, including first, second, and third. Duties
- Provide direct patient care across various shift in personal care setting.
- Adapt quickly to different clinical environments by understanding unit-specific protocols and workflows.
- Administer medications accurately following HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
- Monitor vital signs, pulse ox and monitor skin.
- Support patient mobility with equipment and assist with activities of daily living in assisted living or home & community care settings.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions across departments or facilities.
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures like catheter care or infection control practices
Skills
- Strong background working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; experience in Alzheimer's or dementia care is highly valued.
- Knowledge of medical terminology,
- Skilled in medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation accuracy.
- Ability to adapt quickly between different shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and clinical units while maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with strong communication abilities to support patients of all ages and backgrounds.
