Now Hiring: Childcare Assistant for Licensed In-Home Daycare

We're looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Childcare Assistant to join our licensed in-home daycare. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children learn through play while building meaningful relationships with families.
Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing, attentive care for infants and young children in a licensed in-home childcare setting.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, naps, and outdoor play.
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities, arts and crafts, music, reading, and imaginative play.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in accordance with Washington State licensing requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the provider to create a positive, respectful atmosphere for children and families.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to pass a Washington State DCYF background check.
- Must complete all required DCYF training and meet licensing requirements (or be willing to complete them within required timelines).
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in all aspects of childcare.
