Position Overview
The Production Manager will play a central role in coordinating daily landscape maintenance and enhancement operations. Acting as the key liaison between the field crews and the Account Manager, this role ensures work is completed efficiently, safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards. The Production Manager is responsible for crew leadership, workflow scheduling, production efficiency, and proactive communication that keeps teams aligned and clients satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and motivate maintenance crews, ensuring they are properly dispatched, equipped, and following quality and safety standards.
- Conduct site checks, hold teams accountable for performance, and provide training and corrective feedback as needed.
- Create and adjust daily and weekly schedules to complete all services on time.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials across crews, communicate schedule changes quickly, and plan seasonal services with leadership.
- Qualifications
- 3 years of landscape maintenance, production, or crew leadership experience.
- Strong scheduling and time-management abilities.
- Assertive leadership style with the ability to hold teams accountable respectfully and consistently.
- Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple crews, properties, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of landscaping practices, equipment, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools, mobile apps, and basic office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
