Just Kids Therapy provides pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy to Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a collaborative, skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Hefner Clinic team. We strive to keep a "patient first" focus and nurture a positive culture amongst our team. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Hefner Clinic (6601 W. Hefner Rd., OKC 73162)
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct evaluations
- Determine eligibility based on medical necessity
- Create developmentally appropriate treatment plans through parent collaboration
- Provide evidence-based treatment to address deficits that affect quality of daily living and overall mobility
- Interprets the progress of patients
Overall, the Pediatric Occupational Therapist collaborates the delivery, documentation, and outcome of professional therapy services to pediatric patients and their families from evaluation to discharge.
Qualifications:REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy (required) or Associates in Applied Sciences
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapy Assistant by the OK State Board of Medical Examiners, or a graduate OT eligible for OK licensure, or OT student in the final semester of graduate school
- New Grads welcome
- Current licensure by the state in which you work (Required)
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Reputation as a reliable professional with clients
- Proven ability to manage clients effectively and professionally
- Competent in multiple languages (Spanish) (Nice to have)
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
