Just Kids is a group of specialized preschools in Suffolk & Nassau County, Long Island, NY.
Serving children with a wide range of disabilities from three to five years of age. We work as an interdisciplinary team with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, nursing, vision therapy, and special education teachers.

Position Details:
We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and creating a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Creative Curriculum to maintain, improve and/or enhance the educational functioning of the student
- Create engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to support student development
-Demonstrates knowledge of Early Intervention Program and all associated paperwork requirements
Qualifications
- Valid NYS Certified Special Education Teachers Birth-2 or Equivalent.
- Experience/knowledge and understanding of developmental delay
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience writing progress reports
- Ability to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Must be fun and engaging!
