About us:
Just Kids is a NYS Education Department preschool program located in Suffolk & Nassau County, Long Island, NY. Serving children with a wide range of disabilities from three to five years of age.
We work as an interdisciplinary team with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, nursing, vision therapy, and special education teachers.

Details:
We have an immediate need for a LEAD for our Mental Health and Wellness Department who is passionate and self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team. The appropriate candidate will have qualifications including licensure as an LCSW, Phd in Psychology, or PsyD in Psychology. Preference will be given to those with prior preschool experience.
Location: 2501 Milburn Avenue, Baldwin, NY 11510
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, formulation of functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and behavioral intervention plans (BIP) for select students, supervision of LMSWs, family outreach, the provision of community referrals/resources, parent training/counseling, daily classroom support and consultation, as well as the development of socio-emotional lessons. Additionally, you will be responsible for the organization and management of the classroom response team (CRT).
