Fabrication Cost Accountant/Machine Pricing and Custom Quoting
The candidate must possess the following skills and abilities:
- Accuracy, detail, and great record keeping are critical.
- personable and able to communicate with customers, sales personnel, engineering and
shop floor management.
- Must understand and set priorities.
- Develop a clear understanding of how true cost are achieved as related to equipment
pricing and manufacturing.
- The ability to look at and understand blue prints used in the manufacturing process to
achieve accurate equipment pricing.
- You will learn how to operate all of the equipment and develop an understanding of
what the customer’s needs are. This understanding will help you offer the correct
options and custom items they want and need with the equipment being quoted.
- Time studies and time management as it relates to producing and costing of equipment.
- General understanding and use of AI for gathering competitive information, estimating
and assistants with costing.
- Must be willing to help where needed during inventory counting, costing and catalog
pricing.
- Must be able to develop a true manufactured cost including all direct labor, indirect
labor and overhead.
- You will be expected to develop accurate production times and distribute reports
exposing our labor cost overruns for each area of production.
- Must have experience in EXCEL
Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
