Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Shifts:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM / 2nd Shift: 2:25 PM to 10:55 PM / 3rd Shift: 9:30 AM to 6:00 AM
Pay Rate: 1st Shift: $18 - $20 / 2nd Shift: plus $1 shift premium / 3rd Shift: $2 shift premium
Requirements: Resume / Interview / Background Check / Authorization to Work in the U.S.
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping / Packaging / General Labor to support their metal finishing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Work assignments vary from day to day depending on production requirements.
- Packaging Area (Barrel Department)
- Use FedEx / UPS to create shipping labels
- Ability to read and acknowledge work instructions
- Ability to stand on your feet for eight hours
- Lift 50 pounds
- Perform weight counts on incoming and outgoing parts
- Package finished product in customer’s original packaging
- Band product to skids
- Move skids to shipping department
- General House Keeping
- Sweeping, Mopping and buffing floors
- Emptying Trash
- Wiping down tables and equipment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and inspect parts for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
