What You'll Do:
As a Preschool Teacher, you will take care of and educate children aged three to four years old. Your primary duties will include:
- Following an educational curriculum to facilitate age-appropriate learning and develop the social skills of children.
- Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
- Managing classroom activities including lesson plans, play, and meals.
- Providing a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn.
- Demonstrating good judgement in the care and safety of each child.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting learning environment.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will be a caring individual who enjoys working with preschoolers with the ability to consistently lift up to 30 pounds. At minimum, you possess a GED or H.S. diploma and/or have completed college coursework in early childhood education or a related field.
You are an energetic professional with emotional maturity and the ability to communicate well. You are a team player and enjoy working with others. You maintain a positive outlook and seek innovative approaches to engaging infants and children.
You have the ability to work Monday-Friday and have reliable transportation to ensure consistency for the infants and their parents.
**A clean drug screen and background check are mandatory before a job offer an be extended.

Just For Little People Learning Center is located in the Midtown area of Memphis, TN. We have provided high-quality child care services for more than 21 years. Our Learning Center prioritizes the nurturing, growth and development of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
