Duties
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to enhance the
intellectual, physical, and social development of children.
2. Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages children's
exploration, creativity, and self-expression.
3. Establish and maintain effective communication with parents/guardians, keeping
them informed about their child's progress, behavior, and development.
4. Assess and monitor each child's individual needs, strengths, and areas for
improvement, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
5. Promote positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and
inclusive classroom community.
6. Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, meals served, progress, and
development, and prepare reports as required.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1. At least six months experience working with preschool-aged children in an
educational setting. (not required for aids)
2. Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and the ability to differentiate
instruction accordingly.
3. Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
4. First Aid and CPR certification (preferred), will need to be fingerprinted for background
search and Central Registry Search.
