What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist position at Just Born and Careers?
Join us as a Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in sourcing, attracting, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top talent for Just Born that will deliver our goal of doubling revenue over the next 5 years!
You’ll own the new hire experience & onboarding process, carry out full-cycle recruitment, coordinate interview and onboarding schedules, handle campus / early-career recruitment, and proactively source to build talent pipelines to support our growing team.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Work Model: Standard hybrid schedule with two days in office per week. Additional days onsite may be required to support onboarding schedules as needed.

How You’ll Impact Results:
Talent Acquisition & Attraction
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly roles and select exempt/non-exempt positions ensuring effective & compliant recruiting practices
- Source and engage both active and passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels to build strong pipelines
- Drive intern and campus recruiting initiatives, including coordinating and attending career fairs and early-career talent screening
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives that showcase Just Born’s culture and attract top talent
Candidate Experience & Interview Coordination
- Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience through interview scheduling, assessment coordination, and onsite interview logistics
- Provide day-of interview support for candidates and hiring teams
- Manage pre-employment processes including background checks, required testing, and reference checks
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
- Own the onboarding process and experience, including start date coordination, orientation planning and facilitation, as well as first-day logistics
- Communicate with new hires and hiring managers to ensure a seamless transition into the organization
- Manage onboarding documentation and support HRIS entry as needed
Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related discipline. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated abilities may be substituted.
- 1 year of experience as a Recruiter, or in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources generalist, or related field required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Passion for delivering a positive candidate experience
- Process oriented with the ability to stay curious and focus on continuously improving processes and efficiencies
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), various sourcing technologies, and background check systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization as well as with external partners
- Exceptional organization skills and high level of attention to detail to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
