What You’ll Do:
- Create a warm, joyful, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based activities grounded in research-based practices
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Build strong, respectful partnerships with families and colleagues
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times
- Maintain compliance with California Title 22 regulations and program policies
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- ECE Units required under California Title 22 (must meet teacher qualification requirements)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California Teaching Permit or willingness to obtain upon hire
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
Bonus Qualifications (Preferred):
- Knowledge of DRDP implementation
- Basic knowledge of the Environment Rating Scale (ERS) for preschool
