Just 4 Kids Urgent Care is currently seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist. Rad Techs that join the J4K team will be responsible for performing various clinical duties including radiologic examinations of pediatric patients while creating a superior patient experience.
Just 4 Kids Urgent Care is open from 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. seven days per week.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Rad Tech are listed as follows:
- Ensures superior patient experience by embracing the J4K mission and values, while treating all with compassion and respect.
- Prepares patients for radiologic procedure and takes X-Rays while following established protocol and procedures for patient care and safety.
- Ensures all radiographs are interpreted by clarifying discrepancies.
- Uses necessary radiation protection and shielding materials.
- Logs all radiologic procedures and processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.
- Maintains examination rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
- Performs basic medical assistant duties, which include but are not limited to: rooming patients, taking vitals and patient histories, obtaining chief complaint, completing approved point of care lab testing, and discharging patients.
- Ensures sterile technique with patient procedures, instrument cleaning and sterilization.
- Assists providers and RNs with various medical procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality with all patient information (HIPAA).
Qualifications:
The preferred Radiologic Technologist will have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Radiologic Technologist Certification and registry maintenance through ARRT.
- Current BLS Certificate
- Proficient in the English language
Salary : $18 - $30
