DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management, to ensure alignment with customer expectations while maintaining safety standards and operational excellence. This role supports a two-shift warehouse operation.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check and monitor daily receiving (GR), shipping, and production status
- Monitor and assist with pending receiving orders
- Perform daily cycle counts and physical inventory checks
- Handle RMA and RTV swaps as needed
- Resolve and coordinate daily warehouse operational issues
- Monitor and manage EVMI inventory
- Oversee kitting, testing, end-of-day reporting, and shipping activities
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and standards
- Supervise staff and provide appropriate training and development
- Drive performance to exceed customer metrics (cost, quality, responsiveness)
- Develop and implement corrective action plans when performance falls below targets
- Execute company policies, procedures, and disciplinary standards
- Monitor and manage inventory, including EOL (End-of-Life) processes
- Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and layout adjustments
- Identify growth opportunities with existing customers
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Set short- and long-term goals for team members
- Support Lean culture initiatives
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Lean principles, including 5S, waste walks, and root cause analysis
- 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse or logistics management
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience in warehousing operations integrated with production line environments is highly preferred
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
