What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Security position at Jurney & Associates Inc.?
Jurney & Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a Director of Security, for a high-rise luxury building located in the Brickell area.
This position will be responsible for daily security operations, including the following (not limited to):
- Training and further development of work force, as well as corrective actions
- Scheduling and assign shifts as contract stipulates, or customer may request (Fire Watch, additional guards, special details, etc.)
- Serve as liaison between parties including residents, visitors, Board Members, Property Management Staff, and Maintenance.
- Availability to tend to situations during off (overnight) hours, including weekends and holidays.
Required:
- 2 years security management experience
- Experience with high rise commercial and residential properties
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work well with large groups
- Ability to motivate and train staff
- Fully bilingual (Spanish and English)
- No criminal record
- Security class "D" license or Manager's License
Preferred:
- College graduate
- Resides close to Brickell area
- Reliable transportation
