Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler
Job Description
Create and post schedules for nursing department, track and post changes and approve trades; maintain timely records of call-outs, late and early arrivals and coordinate with HR daily to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly; monitor and minimize overtime; provide reports to the DON relating to staffing and vacancies; keep accurate records of all PTO and change requests; other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in scheduling daily staffing - a must
Computer knowledge required
Experience in long-term care preferred
Ability to effectively communicate with others
