Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Family Nurse Practitioner role based in Jupiter, FL. The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up for acute and chronic conditions in a primary care setting. Daily responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and delivering preventive and wellness-focused care. The role will support services in women’s and men’s health, geriatric care, weight management, and coordination of care with the supervising physician and broader care team. The Family Nurse Practitioner will document all encounters accurately in the medical record, educate patients on treatment plans and lifestyle modifications, and contribute to a respectful, patient-centered clinic culture.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical background in Nurse Practitioner practice with experience providing patient-centered care across diverse populations.
- Demonstrated skills in Nursing and Primary Care, including health promotion, chronic disease management, and preventive services.
- Proficiency in Medicine and Urgent Care–related evaluations, such as managing common acute conditions and recognizing when to escalate care.
- Current, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license and national certification (FNP-BC, FNP-C, or equivalent) in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program, with active DEA registration or eligibility preferred.
- Experience in outpatient primary care, internal medicine, or family practice.
- Excellent communication, patient education, and clinical documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a small practice setting.
- Commitment to holistic, compassionate, and inclusive care, with strong organizational skills and a focus on quality and safety.
