Junzi Kitchen explores the stories and traditions of Chinese cuisine through a modern lens. Inspired by Northern Chinese culinary traditions, we bring together great food, culture, and hospitality.
Founded in New Haven, Connecticut in 2015, Junzi Kitchen has expanded throughout New York City. We’re looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic team members to grow with us.
No restaurant experience? No problem. We provide training.
What You’ll Do
As a Restaurant Team Member, you’ll work with your team to prepare great food and create a welcoming experience for every guest.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Prepare, assemble, and package food according to Junzi standards
- Work across multiple stations, including cashier, packing, food assembly, porter, and prep
- Maintain food quality, freshness, and portion standards
- Keep workstations, equipment, and dining areas clean and organized
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Restock ingredients and supplies
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Work together as a team during busy service periods
