**Experience and Skills Required:**
- Minimum 3 years of experience required.
- General OR and Trauma experience required.
- Level I trauma experience required.
- Travel experience required.
- Required case experience in Bariatric (Laparoscopic assisted cases), General Surgery (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Thyroidectomy partial/total, Whipple), Neurology (Cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion), Orthopedic (Arthroscopy, Carpal Tunnel release, Closed reduction of fractures, Open reduction of fractures), Plastic Surgery (Free Flap - Microvascular), Transplant (Organ donation), Urology (Cystoscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy), Trauma (Amputations, Gunshot/stab wounds, MVA [multiple injuries]), and Emergency management (Code response, Fire safety, Latex Allergy, Malignant Hyperthermia).
- Familiarity with Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Hana tables.
- Proficiency in Professional Knowledge and Skills such as Administration of blood products, Infection control, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Urinary bladder catheterization.

**Certifications Required:**
- BLS required.
- CNOR preferred.
- Certifications from AHA and Red Cross only; RQI cards not accepted.

**Licensure:**
- Must have an active IL license in hand or be in the application process to apply.

**Preferred Experience:**
- Cerner experience preferred.

**Additional Requirements:**
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to apply.
- Required to work with all service lines except CV.

**Note:**
- OR RNs must be 50 miles or more from the facility.
- Floating is 100% required of all travelers within hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Specific qualifications and experience should be met to ensure suitability for the position, including trauma and general OR specific requirements.
