Job Details:

• Facility Specific Job Notes:

**Required Experience and Qualifications:**

1. Minimum 24 months of current/recent operating room experience, specifically in Cardiovascular OR / CVOR.
2. General circulating and general operating room experience, with 80% of experience in Cardiac cases and 20% in General cases.
3. Strong and proficient experience in Cardiac, vascular, thoracic.
4. Basic General Surgery circulating experience.
5. EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years.
6. Trauma Level II experience.
7. Must have completed at least one travel assignment within the previous 15 months.
8. Scrub experience, including open heart scrubbing.
9. Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at the time of submission.
10. AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross BLS certification.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

1. Trauma Level I experience.
2. Professional Reference/Reference Check from within 24 months of today’s date, preferably from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO.

**Documentation Required:**

1. Work history/resume/employment history showing 24 months of current operating room / CVOR experience.
2. Skills Checklist specific to the discipline listed on the job (Operating Room Nurse, scrub/scrubbing).
3. Driver’s License.

**Certifications:**

- BLS (AHA)

**State Licenses:**

- Iowa
